I forgot to mention that I have elastic shoelaces in my shoes. These are often found at the Dollar stores and allow me to easily put laced shoes on and off with out having to ties the laces.
A recent article in the New York Times highlights how one American company is using Medical Tourism to decrease employee health costs.
The article states: "The hospital costs of the American medical system are so high that it made financial sense for both a highly trained orthopedist from Milwaukee and a patient from Mississippi to leave the country and meet at an upscale private Mexican hospital for the surgery."
